The inspiration for the functionalist apartments were the key centers of Czech and European functionalism of the 20th century in Brno: Villa Tugendhat, Bohuslav Fuch's Hotel Avion, Brno Crematorium or Palace Morava. Ebony wardrobes, illuminated onyx walls, oriental carpets and tubular furniture carry a lively link to this wonderful and inspirational period.
